Smith on Telegram

Smith on Telegram is the same coach as Smith on the Web — same settings, same daily status, same tasks. Telegram is just where the messages reach you.

What Smith sends

At your saved local times, Smith can send:

• A morning Inspiration — today's look
• Completed images and their captions
• An evening reminder
• Check-in controls to keep your streak

You can also generate directly inside Telegram.

Connecting

While signed in, open Home Setup or Smith and choose Connect Telegram. StarSmith opens a one-time link to the Bot; tap Start in Telegram to finish.

Reconnecting

If delivery stops, work through these in order:

1. If you previously blocked the Bot — unblock it, then press Restart or send /start in the chat. An existing connection can usually recover from inside Telegram.
2. Only if that does not restore delivery — use Web Reconnect from StarSmith.

Try the Telegram-side recovery first. Web Reconnect is the fallback, not the first move.

What the Bot can see

The Bot receives only the messages and button actions you send in your one-to-one conversation with Smith. To connect your account, deliver reliably, and keep tasks in sync, StarSmith saves the necessary Telegram connection details along with your messages and actions with Smith.

The Bot cannot:

• Read your other Telegram conversations or contacts
• Access your social-account passwords
• Log in to X, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, or any subscription platform
• Publish anything on your behalf

Smith prepares the image, caption, and reminder. You review and post everything yourself.

Avatar

Telegram uses one global Bot avatar for every user. The Smith avatar is not a per-user preference.

Daily completion rules

Check in after posting, or skip the day.

Morning and evening events are deduplicated by your local date and saved timezone snapshot. StarSmith does not backfill missed reminders after a time or timezone change, and days you skipped or already checked in on do not get an evening reminder.
