What Starter Trial, Pro, and Max include, how many Credits an image costs, and how Refills work.
One standard image costs 4 Credits. Everything below follows from that.

New accounts do not receive free generation Credits, and StarSmith does not sell a public Free tier.
Starter Trial
Starter Trial is a one-time purchase, not a subscription that renews or escalates. It includes 40 Credits and 7 Smith service days after setup.
Each account may purchase it once.
Refills
Refill packs are for Pro and Max subscribers who run out mid-cycle. They are repeatable, stackable, and non-expiring.
Refill is deliberately the most expensive per-image option — it is a safety valve for a heavy month, not a cheaper substitute for upgrading your plan. If you are buying Refills regularly, the next plan up costs less per image.
How Credits are spent
- Manual and Autopilot generations draw from the same balance
- Only successful generations are charged
- If a generation's outcome is unknown, its Credits stay reserved until StarSmith can confirm what happened — you are not charged for an unresolved submission
Checkout
Checkout is live through StarSmith's payment provider. Taxes, where applicable, are calculated separately at checkout.
