How to Promote OnlyFans on Reddit as a New Creator
Set up your creator profile, write and submit your first Reddit promo post, and handle removals—with a complete example for an OnlyFans adult creator.
To promote your OnlyFans on Reddit, post content that fits an eligible subreddit and place your paid-page link where that community permits it. Keep your creator profile clear for people who open your username, too. Your first task is to complete that route with one post you can check afterwards.
That is different from simply posting more. In “Is Reddit worth it?”, an adult creator described spending time gaining karma and posting regularly without understanding why few subscribers followed. Comments showed other newcomers sharing the confusion. More activity alone does not tell you which part needs work.

Set up your Reddit profile before your first promo post
Someone who likes a photo may open your username before deciding whether to go further. Make your creator name, description and paid-page link easy to recognize.
Here is a fictional example for an adult creator whose membership includes photo sets and short clips, with longer videos sold separately:

Use your actual offer. If you show your face on the paid page, or your subscription includes every release, say that instead. The OnlyFans bio guide covers the fuller description a visitor will read after following the link.
Add the correct OnlyFans URL to your profile's social links. A short introduction posted to your own profile can explain anything that will not fit in the bio. Open the finished profile on your phone and follow the link: check the creator name, subscription offer and any discount expiry. Do not make an interested visitor guess which of several abandoned pages is current.
Profile links are useful only where your seller account is accepted. Removing a sales line from a community post does not settle a restriction on adult creators themselves; use the eligibility checks in the finder guide above.
Write one post for the subreddit you selected
Use a photo you own and are comfortable making public. A frame from an actual shoot helps someone understand the person and style behind your paid page. It need not reveal everything in the release.
For a concrete example, we checked r/OnlyFans101’s rules on September 10, 2026. This community accepts OnlyFans creators posting their own content. Rule 9 requires an already approved OnlyFans page and a link to it in a comment under your own post. The current submission page also says subreddit verification is required. If you are not verified there, ask its moderators for the current verification process before preparing a submission.
The illustrative example below starts after subreddit verification is approved. Recheck the current rules for your account and file before posting.

This community also prohibits promises of free content as a subscription reward and advertising under other people’s posts. Keep those out of the example. This is a sample to adapt, not a caption to paste across communities. If your image shows a different subject, write about that image. If the subreddit requires a particular title format, follow it. Do not copy another creator's successful title or use “DM for more” where invitations to message are prohibited.
Keep the original file and a separate export named for this post. Check the crop, allowed watermark and any edits before uploading. Check the file against the community’s photo and AI rules before using it.
Submit the photo and check where it appears
For a community that accepts Reddit image posts:
- Open that subreddit and choose Create Post. Check the community name in the composer.
- Select its image option and upload the prepared file. If that option is unavailable, use the accepted format stated by the community.
- Enter the title, select any required flair and apply the NSFW label when applicable. Preview the crop and check that no unwanted background detail is visible.
- Submit once. Open the resulting post and save its permalink alongside the community, file and date.
- For the r/OnlyFans101 example, add your current OnlyFans link in a comment under your own post. Follow a different community’s own placement rule when posting elsewhere.
- Read any automated message and look for the post in the community's New feed. A moderation or review notice needs attention even if the upload succeeded.

The result you can verify now is specific: the right photo and title appear in the intended community, no removal notice is shown, and the required link opens your current OnlyFans page.
Check the removal reason before reposting
If the post disappears, keep its permalink. Work from the message rather than changing the image repeatedly:

For example: “This post was removed for verification, but I received approval on [date]. Could you check whether I missed a step?” Attach the permalink; the moderator should not have to find the post you mean.
Do not keep submitting copies while waiting. Reddit's spam policy covers repetitive mass posting for exposure, and returning through another account after a community ban can constitute ban evasion.
Decide what to repeat after the post stays up

For the next Reddit session, write a specific task: the community, the file you will use, and whether reuse is allowed. Add time to answer relevant comments without offering unpaid custom content or unlimited private conversation.
Creator routines vary. In the remaining comments on a removed Fansly promotion thread, contributors described different posting frequencies and warned that some communities restrict reused photos. Those are individual routines, not a quota to copy. Choose a pace you can sustain with eligible material.
